Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of the Klip app and website. By creating a venue or joining one, you agree to them.
Klip is operated by Luis David Claro Cordero, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Klip", "we", "us").
1. The service
Klip lets hospitality businesses ("venues") create and complete checklists, keep a record of the results, manage their menu and allergen information, and track inventory. The person who creates a venue becomes its first Admin and accepts these terms on behalf of the venue.
2. Accounts
- Each person uses their own account. Accounts must not be shared.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- Staff can only join a venue after being invited by an Admin or a Manager of that venue.
3. Plans and payment
The Free plan has no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on our website. A plan sets the number of users, the number of Admins and how long records and photos are kept. Plan changes are made on request through [email protected].
4. Your content
The checklists, answers, photos, dishes and other content a venue adds to Klip belong to that venue. We only use it to provide the service. The venue is responsible for the accuracy of its content, including allergen information.
Allergen information. Klip shows the allergens that a venue has marked on its ingredients. It does not verify them. The venue remains responsible for the information given to its guests.
Food safety records. Klip helps a venue keep its daily records in one place. It does not replace the reporting systems required by local authorities, and using Klip does not in itself make a venue compliant with any regulation.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Klip to break the law, to access data of another venue, to interfere with the service or to upload content that you do not have the right to use.
6. Availability
We work to keep Klip available at all times, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may update the app and its features over time.
7. Ending the service
A venue can stop using Klip at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. After a venue is closed, its data is deleted according to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Klip is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions a venue makes based on the information it records in Klip.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will inform venue Admins before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Dubai.
